Many thanks. This is such a beautiful place. We enjoyed the bush walk with Buster.

Thanks for the large and filling meal – again :) Really glad I brought my mom here (stayed 9/7/08). Was very nice.

Just magical!

Yes, just magical!

The kauri forest in the night felt enchanted: all those spirits of hundreds of years peeked at us from the heights of the kauri trees, the glowworm arrays echoed by the stars which peeked through the forest canopy like glowworm displays in the sky! To hear the Kiwis calling, then to see not just one, but a second full grown one too – awesome. The morepork called farewells; my only worry was the close encounter with a possum on the track, after we had just been watching the young Kiwi foraging – I do hope he was big enough to hide alright!

Anyway, wonderful experience in the charming backpackers!

Thanks!

Thanks for the lovely stay. The roast was wonderful!

And we really enjoyed the bush track. Gus (2 y.o.) was particularly pleased he made it up the big hill on his won (almost!).

Cheers,

Went for a late night trek at Trounson Kauri Park. Used a red light and saw a Kiwi. Amazing!

Feel in love with Buster.

Just staying for 2 nights. Very nice place, awesome view and the smartest dog I have ever met! I went onto the Kaihu Farm walk with Buster – thanks a lot.

And I went to Waipoua Forest and Trounson Kauri Park – What a difference.

Have made the guided night walk, have seen many Kauri trees and 1 Kiwi!!

Thank you very much!

Janny and Michel – don’t forget to flick the switch so that the next guests see the you-know what! [glow worms].

Great place. Great walk thro’ your bush. Great grub.
