We got a very good dinner after we arrived here, yummy!!!
Our room was very well heated in the coldest night of the year, the hospitality here is also extraordinary, have been served a lot of tips and info for our trips further North.
Did the nice bush walk at night and saw glow worms along the stream.
Left quite late as Caroline had to stroke all the pigs, the cat and the dog so much!

Lovely place!
Tucked away in beautiful countryside, lots of friendly animals.
Glow worm walk was good and Kiwi walk was fun even though we didn’t see one.
Lovely rooms, clean tidy kitchen.

I enjoyed Buster and black kitty’s welcome as I arrived.
Thanks for the encouragement to delve into the Kauri Park by night – a bit spooky, but well worth it once I spotted 2 Kiwis!!
Pam from last week is right – it pays to be quiet and patient. Elvis the eel was eelusive tonight, but he sounds charming as well.
